Franklin Onwa, Property Director
Franklin is a dynamic operations executive with extensive leadership experience spanning construction, real estate, oil & gas, healthcare, and the non-profit sectors. With over a decade of expertise in operations management, project delivery, and portfolio oversight, he blends strategic insight with hands-on execution to drive growth, efficiency, and long-term value.
With a strong foundation in engineering and community healthcare, Franklin has led complex, multi-provincial initiatives across Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. He has managed cross-functional teams and successfully delivered multi-million-dollar capital projects for top-tier Oil and Gas clients, driving their success and growth in local markets. His approach emphasizes building scalable systems that produce measurable outcomes.
As Director of Seafair’s Property Portfolio, Franklin manages a diverse range of assets, applying deep industry knowledge and a client-focused mindset. His experience in service delivery and contract compliance is instrumental in maximizing the performance and potential of Seafair’s real estate holdings. He also directs Headway, a division of Seafair that supplies personal protective equipment and testing services to the community care sector. In both capacities, he engages stakeholders across corporate, government, and community sectors. His leadership is defined by collaboration and a commitment to continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making.
Franklin holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master’s in Operations Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), an ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor, and an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Passionate about community-focused development, he champions inclusive, community-centered solutions that create lasting impact across Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond.
