Meet Matt.

Matthew Head, Executive Vice President  

Matthew is an experienced leader in the community health care sector and has worked in several roles through more than 17 years with Seafair. His entrepreneurial passion has led him through progressive roles leading the growth of several divisions and assisted in the establishment of province-wide operations. As the former VP of Consumer Health with Seafair, he has led Seafair’ s expansion into the US market, kick-starting our multi-discipline Home Care business in Florida.

In 2020, Matthew helped establish Headway, a division of Seafair started in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to import and distribute Personal Protective Equipment, and to provide infection control and testing services to the community care sector. Matthew brings his leadership and experience to navigating the US regulatory environment, a deep commitment to building community, strength in building a values-based culture, and experience implementing technology to enhance service delivery.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Memorial University, has completed the Advanced Leadership Program through the Gardiner Centre and holds a Strategic Innovation Program certificate from the Oxford Saïd Business School, and most recently finishing the Quantum Shift program through the Ivey Academy at Western University. Rooted in a commitment to service and taking care of one another, he brings a strong focus on collaboration within the community sectors to help improve the lives of those across NL and beyond.
